Falls Lake - Fall 2011 Trip

• Put In - Located at the Upper Barton Creek boat ramp on Six Forks Road.  Put in on the right side of the boat ramps.  Trees are close to peak and it was going to be a beautiful day so decided to get out early.

• Distance/Time - 9.6 miles/3 1/2 hours

• Difficulty - Average

• Trip Directions - Headed towards the Highway 98 bridge and then to Ziegle's Rock at the B.W. Wells Homestead.

• Scenery - The fog was very thick at the start and actually made it an interesting paddling.  All burned off around 9:30AM.  Not much wildlife other than some birds and a deer on the road at Rockcliff Farm.

• Hazards - Fog.
