Distance/Time - 10.6 miles/4 1/2 hours/2 MPH Avg Speed

Lake Level - 251ft.
Trip Directions - From the put in, head left towards Falls Lake. About .8 mile down the Flat River merges into the Eno. The Flat River is a very nice paddle as there are 5 boat ramps along the route where you can easily pull in and take a break. Then you can hike on the Waterfowl Impoundment road. Very interesting water control mechanisms along the impoundment. I took my time and checked out all the side tributaries and found a few that went for a bit before being blocked by downed trees. I also ran into another kayaker who decided to take the same trip that day on the Flat.
Scenery - Very nice cool and over cast day. Heron and ducks and a few turtles. The trip ends at low water when the head waters of Falls Lake stops.
Hazards - None.
