Trip Directions - Head north from the boat ramp towards the Old Weaver Trail bridge.
Scenery - Did a sun rise trip on this section. Was on the water by 5:50am. Found out a lot of fisherman have the same idea. Would try to be half hour earlier, little darker and less fisherman probably. Water is way down from last year, was unable to make it to the Old Weave bridge. Loads of birds; osprey, hawks, ducks, geese, etc. Logs and tree stumps in many places. Ended up paddle down to Sandling Beach and taking a walk around the park. Also ran into some of the fisherman's left behind cat fish jugs. Picked them up again. Also. saw my first osprey nest with babies. He/She was very protective as I came close to the nest. A big bird it is....
Hazards - Shallow water, plant growth in the water, all kinds of stuff.
