Bush Creek III

Put In - The Bush Creek access is off of Big Woods Road at the north end of the lake. A very nice gravel road leads down to a nice parking area and a very close put in. Much nicer than trying to put in at the Farrington Point Boat Ramp.
Distance/Time - 4.1 miles/3 hours
Difficulty - Average
Trip Directions - Head left or north out of the put in make a nice big counter-clockwise circle around the Bush Creek section of the lake. The lake is very low because of the drought we are experiencing. Much of the area was impassable due to low water.
Scenery - Very scenic area for birds. Many egrets or herons. First cool day in a month.
Hazards - Low Water.
