Flemingtown Rd

Put In - Located at the end of Flemingtown Road after taking exit 220 on I-85. From Raleigh, this is a straight shot up US-1 and then to I-85. This is a NC Wildlife Commission ramp, open 24 hours and is free.

Trip Directions - I headed to Big Mill Creek and then circled back to the Satterwhite Marina. Hiked the marina and a little bit of Satterwhite Point park.
Scenery - First cool day after a long hot August. Had some rain also as we are experiencing a drought as you can see from the lake level. The wind was up, so a few eagles were circling. Various birds all around.
Hazards - Motor boats and wakes.
